Details: TEACHER/SENDCO VACANCY – The Pivot Academy, Kirklees - Bradley Site The Pivot Academy Bradley site encompasses the following provisions: Provision 1: The Bungalow is a bespoke, 10 place Key Stage 3 provision with a nurture based approach for young people with an EHCP. Provision 2: Day 6 is a short-term Key Stage 4 provision for permanently excluded students who are awaiting their next educational destination. Teacher (0.6) SENCo (0.4): We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, creative and resilient practitioner who will play an integral part in the development of our school. You will have responsibility for driving the technology curriculum and creating an engaging program that fosters students imagination and instill a love of learning. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the strategic direction and development of the SEN provision at the school, will have experience and knowledge of working with students with a range of additional needs to narrow the gaps and ensure they achieve their best during their time at Pivot Academy. The candidate we require will be an outstanding and reflective practitioner with a strong passion for helping every learner in their care reach their full potential. The candidate we are looking for will have a strong team ethos and a positive demeanour. We would support any aspiring SENCos for the right candidate, training and support would be provided.
