Pivot Academy Salus House KS3 & KS4
The Pivot Academy at Salus House offers a therapeutic nurture provision for learners with complex social, emotional, mental health and other associated needs. Trauma informed practice and approaches are embedded throughout our provision. We recognise each of our learners as unique with different experiences and offer a pathway to reflect their individual needs and support success. We have high aspirations for all our learners, and our offer gives them the opportunity to experience and understand the world around them, enables them to achieve their full potential and equips them with the tools they need to play a successful role in the world beyond school and into adulthood.

Pivot Academy Bradley KS4
Here at The Pivot Academy in Bradley, Kirklees, the school offers two different types of provision based within one site:
The Bungalow is a specialised centre for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health concerns and for students with an Education, Care and Health Plan in place. We follow a therapeutic and nurturing approach to our education; our core curriculum content focuses on English, Maths and PSHE and in addition we support students who may be struggling with a wide range of personal development issues.
Pivot 6 is a centre specifically for KS4 children who have been permanently excluded from mainstream school. Our curriculum is based on core academics, creativity and personal development but also has a clear focus on developing children's softer skills. Our aim in Pivot 6 is to support students academically and socially and to prepare them for transition back into mainstream school.
