Join a team that makes a real difference.

At Pivot we believe children deserve better. In our academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages 2 – 5 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with some traumatic backgrounds.

Due to the growth of our offer, we are currently seeking an organised, compassionate and detail-focused Admissions Administrator to support the admissions process across our schools. This is an ideal opportunity to work in a busy and efficient team which is integral to Pivot life.

As the Admissions Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for families and our partners during the admissions journey. Your role will be vital in ensuring a smooth, supportive, and efficient process from initial enquiry through to onboarding.

Due to the busy and front facing nature of the role, this post would suit a candidate who has previous administrative experience in a demanding environment, with a strong customer service focus. The team currently consists of the Admissions Manager and an Admissions Administrator, so you will have the opportunity to be fully supported in this role by experienced and friendly staff.

Working at Pivot will give you a real chance to change the lives of our learners and we truly believe you will find working here a rewarding experience.

Interviews:        26 June 2025

We are committed to safeguarding our young people and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check and appropriate referencing.

During the shortlisting process, Pivot will carry out an online search on shortlisted candidates as part of its due diligence.
